What’s New in 0.0.31
This release focuses on restoring closed tabs functionality, fixing the auto-update system, and improving overall tab management.
Reopen Closed Tabs
You can now reopen recently closed tabs using Cmd+Shift+T (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+T (Windows/Linux).
Features:
- Global stack - Closed tabs from any window can be restored from any other window
- Persistent history - Your closed tabs are saved between sessions
- Split view support - Tabs remember which split group they were in
- Window restoration - When you close a window, all its tabs are saved and can be restored together
- 30 tab limit - Keeps the most recent 30 closed tabs to prevent memory issues
How it works:
- Close a tab normally with
Cmd+W - Press
Cmd+Shift+Tto restore the last closed tab - Keep pressing to restore more tabs in reverse order
- If you closed an entire window, the first
Cmd+Shift+Twill restore all tabs from that window
Note: Incognito tabs are never saved for privacy.
Fixed Auto-Updates
The auto-update system has been fixed. Users on version 0.0.29 and 0.0.30 can now properly update to the latest version.
What was fixed:
- Deploy script now correctly selects the right version file
- SHA512 checksums are properly calculated for each release
- Update notifications will now appear correctly
Improved Tab Focus
When closing a tab, focus now correctly moves to the next tab’s content instead of being lost.
Improvements:
- Focus automatically moves to the most recently visited tab
- Works correctly in split view mode
- Focus is preserved when closing split panels
Tab Context Menu
Right-click on any tab to access the context menu with options:
