What’s New in 0.0.32

This release brings major improvements to voice interaction support, a completely redesigned search experience inspired by macOS Spotlight, and enhanced keyboard navigation throughout the app.

ChatGPT Voice Mode Support

You can now use ChatGPT’s Voice Mode directly in Manaby. We fixed the microphone permission handling that was preventing voice features from working.

What we fixed:

Cross-origin isolation - Proper handling for ChatGPT’s advanced features
Microphone permissions - Fixed device enumeration and selection on macOS
Default device detection - The browser now correctly identifies and uses the system’s default microphone

Note: macOS has complex audio device management. We implemented custom permission handling to ensure Voice Mode works reliably.

Quick Tab Switcher

Switch between open tabs instantly by pressing Shift twice quickly (Double Shift).

Features:

Visual overlay - See all your open tabs at a glance
Keyboard navigation - Use arrow keys to navigate, Enter to switch
Quick access - Jump to any tab without touching your mouse
Search integration - Start typing to filter tabs by title or URL
Close tabs - Select a tab and press Cmd+Backspace (macOS) or Ctrl+Backspace (Windows/Linux) to close it

Redesigned Search Bar

The search bar has been completely redesigned with a macOS Spotlight-inspired look and feel.

Improved favicon backgrounds - Automatic background color extraction for better contrast
Action indicators - Visual feedback for keyboard shortcuts including Shift key support

Focus management - SearchBar retains focus when closing tabs, auto-refreshes suggestions
Ghost text completion - Inline URL completion based on history and open tabs

Enhanced Ad-Blocking

We’ve improved the ad-blocking system with better handling for video streaming sites.

Improvements:

Video ad-blocking - Improved detection and blocking of video advertisements
Tab reload on toggle - Changes take effect immediately when you toggle ad-blocking
Registry improvements - Better tracking of blocked content
